Does Borba have the Cellulite Cure?

November 28, 2008

A few weeks ago, I was sitting in my allergist's office after my injection, and happened to read in some random magazine about a product that actually firmed up “that area”. You know the area I mean; the dreaded cellulite zone. I was intrigued so I ordered the product, and have been using it for about 10 days now.  I am happy to report that in the never-ending search for an effective caffeine-free cellulite product, there is hope!  It's Borba Firming Body Cleansing Serum ($20).

This is kind of a thick gel that you massage into your skin in the shower or bath, and then let it sit on the skin for 30 seconds or so.  Then rinse it off.  It feels a little tingly, and smells great.

I couldn't find any retailers in the Dallas area so I placed my order online, and received two samples of Borba's contour cream.  I used it for a couple of days, and it may be wishful thinking, but I'm telling you I could see some firming.  So my next order will include the Firming Diamond Shimmer Contour ($32).

I'll continue this trial, and let you know how it goes, but so far I'm encouraged!  There is hope!

My friend swears by the Avon cellulite gel. She gave me a bottle and I’ve used it a couple of times, but I keep forgetting to use it and can’t report any results.

Thanks for the tip, Anna! I think I need to add the Avon gel to my list to try. Avon is usually pretty affordable so it’s worth a gamble. Thanks!

I loved the smell and the feel of the Borba Firming Body Cleansing Serum when I borrowed yours in Vegas! So, if you think you notice even the slightest improvement, I’m buying me some!

I’ll keep you posted. I’m still liking it! I’m about to order some more of the serum and the cream that I sampled.

Borba’s products are great! For cellulite and general skin health, try their aqua-less packets too. It tastes good and is refreshingly light. No funny aftertaste. I get a water bottle, fill it with ice, drop a packet in fill the rest with water and sip it throughout the day. Within the week, you’ll notice your skin is nicer all over.
