Everyone else loved them. I just chose to save my carbs for sweet potato casserole, which is my very favorite thing and I didn't want to load up on too many dinner carbs, since I made four desserts for 7 of us! (No, I did not eat a piece of each, but I tasted plenty!) Shortbread is absolutely my favorite cookie, by itself or as a layer in a bar. I just made a cherry pecan meringue bar tonight with a brown sugar shortbread crust.
