How Many Texans Does it Take to Build an Igloo?

February 14, 2010

One, two, three, four, five.  Five.  It takes five Texans to build an igloo!

Dallas Igloo

This is my friend SAA and her family, with the igloo they built during Dallas' 12.5 inch record snowfall on February 11.  I'll bet I never get to say those words again…

Way to go SAA and crew!

I’m sure it was fun, NoblePig, but I’m betting it was a little chilly too!

Hidey ho, Cathy! The snow was tons of fun, but not so much for the 180,000 people without power I guess. We made the best of it though!

Hey, LilSis! How often do you get to build an igloo, or even see one in Texas for that matter!

For the record, the boys went on and added two more levels of snow-cubes that day! But I was informed yesterday that it has since collapsed. RIP, Igloo of 2010 🙂

I bet that was cool when it was finished, SAA! It’s kind of a bummer that the last remnants of our snow are almost gone!
