Hi Lourdes! Thanks a bunch for your comment. Alas, Portillos is a legend in Chicago, but it’s a tough place for a vegan to eat! I think I had a plain green side salad there, and was still pretty hungry afterwards. It’s just one of those times when vegetarians and vegans have to roll with the flow and find *something* to eat, otherwise we’d be sitting alone in our hotel room when everyone else was out to dinner together! 🙂 Thanks again for visiting us!
